Despite earlier protests our application for a meteorological mast was approved by Argyll & Bute Council.
Thanks to our friends at Chillwind the assembly has made it’s way down from Inverness.

Laid out before it gets winched up – flat at this stage like the wind-felled trees
Without a doubt it’s a big structure. However, the wind blows stronger higher up and that’s why we’re measuring it.
Over the coming day or two more pictures will appear as the mast takes shape.
