Ascog Farm, Isle of Bute

Ascog Farm covers 150 acres (approximately 60 hectares) of hilly ground on the Isle of Bute, Scotland.

The farm land is grazed all year by flocks of Shetland, Hebridean, Lleyn-Cheviot, Herdwick and Texel sheep. In the summer months we take on Ayrshire and Simental cattle from neighouring farms.

Ascog’s sheep are registered with Quality Meat Scotland (Membership number 016276) to assure quality, character and traceability.

Our woollen products are developed from fleeces straight off the backs of our mix of pedigree sheep.

From time to time we have meat from the sheep too!
