Pure Shetland double knitting wool reared and sheared from the flock at Ascog Farm.
Available in 2 colours in 50g balls – natural cream from the white Shetlands and fawn from the brown Moorit Shetlands.
The colours have resulted from blending the natural colours of the fleeces and expertly processed by The Natural Fibre Company in Cornwall. The resulting tones will vary each year as they depend on the markings and colours of the Shetland flock that we hold each year. The Moorit ram is still leaving his mark but in the most recent years the ram has been white. They have not been dyed or bleached.
