Shetland Moorit is a lovely warm brown coloured fleece and because it is felted it can made again from the same animal next summer.
There are 63 colour and pattern combinations of the Shetland breed https://www.shetland-sheep.org.uk/shetland-sheep-breed/colours-markings and Moorit is one of the 11 colours described as warmish red.
This is an alternative to sheepskin as the ‘skin’ is made from felted Merino wool.
An earthy and unique fleece which can be used as a blanket or a rug. The touch is enough to make you feel warm.
